hi guys, how about CAR-TUNE-UPS?.. get it, cartoon. kinda silly, kinda catachy…just like you.
then theres the reference to turnups whis is self explanitory.

Yes Screwge, we know there are some folks with no humor and less tact, honestly.

Hi fellas, …EXTERNAL COMBUSTION…

May I suggest “The Two Dipsticks” for Car Talk"s new animated TV show. Dipstick is a name of affection my husband used for our boys when they were young. He is not foolish enough to call me one!
Kathi Havard

“Don’t Drive Like My Brother”

About 27 years ago I was living in 02138 and working temp at a Somerville-headquartered ball-bearing concern with seven or so branches in New England. Unlike most operations that hit upon a newsletter as a great idea even though it’s just extra work and superfluous, these guys were far-flung and actually needed a newsletter in the pre-internet age. They had a contest to name the newsletter, with the prize being dinner for two anywhere in the Boston area. I came up with the winning title --one especially fitted to a most florid native-Boston pronunciation. My boyfriend (now husband) and I got to chow like a couple of expense accounters with police-dog appetites at good ol’ Anthony’s Pier 4. So I think the new PBS show should be “Anthony’s Pier 4.” No, no, NO, wrong, wrong, WRONG!

What I really think is that, with great economy of effort and appropriateness of reappropriation, the name I chose for the newsletter, “The Torque of the Town,” would do just great as the name of the show. Can lightning strike twice? I think so. I hope so. I’m stuck now in Central Florida dreaming that it will.

May I suggest the title of your new animated PBS TV show be: “MAGLIOZZI SQUARE”

Just a few thoughts from Lincoln, Ne…

“Tappetoons”

“Cambridge Squares”

“Automotive Angst”

“CTV” (Car Television)

Hi guys,

Here are some suggested names for the show:

Check Engine – Automotive Misgivings with Click and Clack
Burnt Valves – The Guiding Light of Automotive Prognoses from the Tappet Brothers
Boyz Under the Hood – Gettin’ Lubed in Harvard Square (this might raise wrong expectations!)
CarTalk Plaza – Ramblings and Repairs with Click and Clack

Tom

Hey Guys! How about “MAGLIOZZI SQUARE” or “MAGLIOZZI’S WAY” “THE MAGLIOZZI BROTHERS”

Check Engine Lite
the gRUMBLE SEAT

The new PBS show should definitely be named Lug Nuts! You guys are great, but you are both nuts!
