Name the new Car Talk TV show!

Looney Tune Ups
Car Nation
Nuts 'n Bolts
Nightmare in the Garage
Monster Mechanics

Love your show. It has given me many laughs, some at difficult times. Good luck with the show.

WEAK in Boston

A thought entered my mind. Hope I can get it out clearly . (And if you see this twice, blame it on my back button.)

Car Talk works so well because humor is used in the service of the serious.
Real problems are being solved, technical and ethical, with humor as a medium.

I hope the cartoon version does not treat Click and Clack as two buffoons and their antics.
I hope it does not make them into the doltish William Bendix character in the old LIFE OF RILEY (anyone here old enough to have seen it on TV, no less heard it on radio?). Wouldn’t work right.

The animated show, sans laugh track, needs to hit the right balance between – between – uhh – well, you know what I mean.

Clack and Click, The Other Story

or

M.echanics I.n T.raining where real engineers learn

Transmission faliure or The Cracked blockheads

i think it should be called, The Tappet Brothers. thanks

how about The carneys.

“Loose Nuts” Respectfully submitted!

American Idle

cartalk (with the background music being the Bee Gees 'Jive talk"

Transmission Impossible

I don’t think I did this right. My idea is ‘cartalk’ with the background music being the Bee Gees ‘Jive Talk’
or ‘car talking’ with the background music being the same but it’s ‘Jive Talking’

“Click & Clack’s Spare Parts”

“Boyz Under The Hood” (or similarly “Boyz Under Tha Hood”).

“Car Talk Or Not”

Ray, Tom

I think this is a no-brainer
the name of the show should be “Car Toon” if you want to get funny and play with the radio connection you may try “Car Tune”

All my best, mjsCarTalk

Sorry if these been submitted, but I got tired of searching through the discussion page-by page and dreplies/pageidn’t figure out how to show more than twenty replies/page.

“Junker Hill”
“Good News Garage” [Do Tom and/or Ray still have the rights to the name?]
“Greasemonkeys”
“The Wreck Room”

“Grease Spots”
“Flatheads”
“Breakdown!”
“The Pits”
“Cranks”
“Beaters”

“The Hub”
“Heap Cliffs”
“The Heaps”

I really, really, don’t think so but feel compelled to add:
“The Axles of Evil”
“The Lemonheads” [ask David Green]

Obviously, Tom is still firmly entrenched in the 20th century (albeit the later half, barely) with his MGTD, on which he adjusts the tappet clearance to 0.0013" every 5,000 miles (that is to say, every ten years), but the producers of the new animated show are likely to employ 21st century technology, namely CGI (computer generated imagery, Tom), so how about paying homage to the present era by calling the show “The Overhead Cam Follower Brothers”?
