Here is my idea for the TV show name.
“Two Sides to the Square” or Two Sides to a Square"
When I say the info on the show this title came to my mind almost at once.
This is for various reasons.
There are two of you.
You have two different views of things.
Your very mechanical minded so this draws reference to taking the square of something.
The Square is to have your garage and your show.
Guys – I doubt I’m the first one with this idea, but I’d say it is the best and easiest choice you could make. Call the show “Don’t Drive Like My Brother.” For regular “Car Talk” listeners, it will be instant identification. For the uninitiated, it will identify the show as having family-themed conflicts, but nothing too serious, and possibly a car connection. How could you go wrong?
Good luck with the show, regardless of the name you choose. I’ll be watching and, of course, looking to buy the season one DVD from the Shameless Commerce Division once it is available.
“Lost in Transmission”…the title would be a appropriate to both the radio and automotive aspects of the show. A subtitle might be “hopelessly garbled answers to the exitential question ‘what the $&?! is wrong with my car’”
