My 13-year-old son loves listening to Car Talk as much as I do, and we were laughing together recently at some of the sounds callers make when trying to describe the noises their cars are making. He thinks it would make a great commercial to have just a quick snippet from one of the Clackit Brothers – something like “So what does it sound like?” – followed by a collection of some of the best noises made by callers, maybe set to a snappy beat. I know we’d enjoy it! And maybe it would get some new listeners into the audience. Goodness knows there’s plenty of good material available in the Car Talk archives!
