The speedometer, odometer and tachometer of my 1998 Neon at times stop working. All three at the same time. This lasts for a very short time - minutes or seconds- and then resume working. Are bumps causing a fuse to get loose and get in place again? Thanks.

None of these units are controlled by a fuse. They get their instructions directly from the computer. The most likely cause is a faulty VSS (vehicle speed sensor).
