Last night I left my moonroof open on my 2003 SAAB.Today I thought it would be fine but I got a Gearbox problem indicator and my car would not accelaerate correctly.Could this be a purely electrical problem? Also can I take this to a GM dealer with my SAAB warrenty or do I have to take it to a SAAB dealer?( 150 miles away)
I don’t believe that water in the interior of the car will affect the gearbox, so it could be an electrical problem. I am almost sure though that you will have to take it to the SAAB dealer. It may be a division of GM, but they don’t service them at a GM dealer.
Another thought, call the GM dealer and ask them if they can service your car under warranty.
