My 2005 Jeep Cherokee Laredo has just started not starting.It has 20,000 miles on it.
I cannot associate it with any particular activity.It just does it intemitenly.
The mechanic I left it with started it 100 times over two days.
He says they can’t tell what the problem is until it does it in front of them.
Saturday, at the hardware store it would’nt start. I phoned the mechanic, ten doors down the street and he was not in that day. What’s a girl to do?
Is your Jeep Cherokee an automatic? If it is…just shift to neutral and see if it starts. If it does then the neutral safety switch is bad. I have owned several Jeep Cherokees and they all had this problem eventually.
You still haven’t defined “not starting.” There are probably at least 10 different things that count as “not starting.” So you need to describe exactly what happens when you turn the key.
