My car got 'mis-aligned' when it was towed, how should I handle this?

I wholeheartedly agree with @thesamemountainbike. Even if you don’t get financial help from the city, you have provided an important written record that could very well indicate that a private tow contractor or whomever did the job, did it incorrectly. You could be doing everyone, including yourself a favor. Excellent comment @samemountainbike !
