Lately, I didnt get much chance to drive my old car (97 nissan altima). Now, when i try to take it up-slope, the car ceases to stop. However, it runs smoothly when going down-slope or on a regular road.
In these past 5 months I hardly my old car drove 6-7 times. what do you guys suggest

“Ceases to stop?” Sounds like a brake problem. If the car won’t stop, you shouldn’t be driving it.
But then you say it runs smoothly going down hill or on a “regular road.” Where I live regular roads go up and down.
You need to give us a LOT more information. What’s REALLY going on?
