I need to clarify a few things about my golf cart. It is a '85 club car frame and body modified with liftkit, mudgrips (only 2x4), tagged and streetlegal. This contraption is used to ride the local laketrails, occasional trips to the corner store and will never see a golfcourse again. The only reason I even consider a diesel engine is possible use of biofuel. The vehicle is equipped with oversized tires which have increased the top speed some, but the factory 11hp engine struggled from a dead stop, specially in tire grabbing situations. I was flirting with the idea of getting more torque from a diesel, but I don’t know if it will hold up to prolonged high rpm driving, 10miles roundtrip to the store. Thanks, dodgeman1
