looked under my car and noticed this. not sure why this thing came loose and fell off but i need another one
i dont know what to buy cause i dont know what this is called can you buy it at autozone?
also on side note this wire seems to be hanging a bit loose what is this for?
The white nylon part is a plastic nut. Replace it with a metal nut and washer from the hardware store or auto parts store.
The wire thing looks like a parking brake cable housing. Ignore it.

The nylon nut looks like it’s on one side of the car but not the other. If these nuts are duplicate, remove the one you have and take it to the hardware store with you. Find a bolt that fits it and then find a nut that fits the bolt. You only have to buy one nut this way. Also, don’t buy a carbon steel nut. Buy stainless steel or zinc plated.
The “wire” looks more like a piece of formed tubing.
That’s what it looks like to me as well. My guess, part of the evap emissions system.
If OP has a copy of the plastic nut to show them, an auto parts store can probably get a replacement for you. Do you know what it is holding? I’m guessing maybe something to do w/the spare tire. Are you hearing any rattling sounds when you go over bumps?
That is a slash shield for the parking brake cable, it prevents ice from building up during winter driving. If it fell off, no one would care.
Those plastic nuts are used because they snap into place like push pins, they don’t need to be threaded into place. A common metal nut with a large flat washer will work.
The spare tire belongs in the trunk.
