My car has ~11K miles on it and recently the brake pedal started making noises.
As I lift off the brake pedal, it’ll make a clunk right before coming back into the un-depressed position. If I lift off the brake pedal very slowly, that clunk disappears. At the same time, I also started to feel a click/thud in the shifter as I engage or lift off the brake pedal in park.
I should mention that it’s been a very rough winter in New York and I’ve been over my fair share of potholes / road debris. Is there something that could’ve been rattled in the undercarriage?
