1993 Olds Royal, v-6 engine. Runs well down the highway then kills and won’t start. Somtimes I wait a day and restarts but not always. Have seen waiting for a week before it will start again. Any guess about the problem?
When it doesn’t start, does the engine crank? If it cranks, is there spark from a spark plug wire? If there is spark, spray Starting Fluid into the large black plastic intake tube. Does it start, and run for a few seconds?
Is the gas cap clogged?
Check your battery terminals. If they are loose or corroded, you won’t have a good connection and the car won’t start or will die as you go down the road. It happened to me.
