I would have considered a Mazda, but my town no longer has a Mazda dealer. The one Mazda dealer that we did have lasted less than four years. The dealer claimed that the Mazda was so trouble free that he couldn’t keep his service department busy. He dropped the franchise and just sold used cars. Two of my friends bought Mazdas and really liked them. One friend took his Mazda in for an oil change and was looking for a second car. He left the dealership owning another new Mazda, so he had a pair of Mazdas.
I believe what you’re describing is “lane change assist”
There seems to be some overlap with “blind spot monitoring” . . . meaning they have similar, but identical purposes
But they’re not exactly the same thing
somebody please chime in to correct me if I’m wrong . . .
Well on mine a light goes on any time someone is in your blind spot left or right. Then if you turn your signal light on it will beep in addition to tell you someone is already there. If you don’t signal your lane change and don’t pay attention to the little lights, all bets are off.
I checked and you’re correct. I rarely drive the Tucson and my car is old enough that it has neither so I don’t know the terminology well.
Yeah that is the one thing I don't like on my new Durango is the heat setup . Just give me a blower switch and a dial to adjust the heat . Having auto temp control hidden in the onscreen menu is a PIA .
Good tops are one thing but what about the rest of the car? I rented one a few years ago and don’t recall exactly but seemed like the gauges and controls were all backwards from what I was used to. It wasn’t bad but just not something great as far as I can recall. Then I always still think of that rotary engine when I hear Mazda. Like GM and diesels, fair or not.
Can you clarify what you mean by “tops”? If that’s a “car guy” term I’m not familiar with it.
