Mazda 2300 Engine Misses at Steady Speed

2.3 Liter 4 cyl. accelerates fine in all gears, but once you reach a steady speed in any gear, it jerks and bumps. Does not run smooth unless you are accelerating? Any ideas?

Engage your CC on a smooth and level stretch of road and see if the problem persists. If it does…have your fuel pressure tested. That would be a good place to start.

Please Give The Model, And Model-Year Of The Vehicle That Houses This Engine. Some Conditions Are Vehicle Specific, But It’s Much Easier To Locate Helpful Information By Vehicle Than By Engine.
