My 2003 Chevy Malibu has been creaking/popping in the front right corner whenever I turn (left or right). I finally took it to the repair shop when I also smelled burning rubber. They replaced my alternator and belt and one other part. This morning, I noticed the creaking sound and the burning smell again! What is it? HELP!!! At this point, I’m $500 in the hole. What else can I expect–or did they do something wrong?
