Low beam failure

'04 Volvo S60…continually replacing low beam lamps (both sides)…have been using various manufacturers (except Volvo).

If the bulbs keep blowing out then you need to check your grounds to the headlight receptacles. Check the receptacles themselves for burned, corroded or dirty contacts.

You’re not touching the bulbs with your fingers when you replace them, are you? Fingerprints will cause rapid bulb failure.

Vibration, moisture, fingerprints excessive heat, poor contacts …

Check those out first.
