I have had my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse for close to 6 months now and it has close to 100,000 miles on it. The front left headlight went out a few months ago, but when i popped the hood to check it out, it came back on from the impact. Now, it has gone out and I cannot get it to come back on. It isn’t burned out, as i replaced them when i got the car. What can i do?
Get out your voltmeter and find where the +12v stops, or where there is no electrical path to ground. Work your way backward from the bulb itself.
I would start at the lamp. Remove the plug clean up everything, I would add some di-electric grease, and re-assemble.
