Last night while driving my battery light and bake light came on and stayed on. Nothing seems wrong at least not yet ( but they are warning lights) any thoughts on what it could be?
I am going to assume that you are referring to the warning light for the emergency/parking brake, not the warning light for the car’s 4-wheel (service) braking system.
With that assumption, I can tell you that the presence of both the “battery” light and the e-brake warning light means that your alternator is failing.
I would strongly suggest that you drive the car to a competent mechanic this morning, before you wind up being stranded and needing a tow.
On the other hand, if you are referring to the warning light for the car’s service brake, then I would suggest that you not drive the car at all, and that you have it towed to a mechanic.
