I have a 99 Expedition with a leak coming from a black rubber plug on the botton of the tranny between the oil pan and the tranny pan. Its a good size leak? Any way to fix this with out pulling the tranny out?

That rubber plug is what you pull out to access the torque converter drain plug. Dollars to doughnuts your torque converter is leaking. It could be from the drain plug, but it is more likely a TC seal. The bad news is that you might need a new TC. The good news might be that you probably don’t need a new trans.
Someone is going to have to look at it. Ask around and see if someone knows of a trans shop that you can trust. Remeber, AAMCO means “All Automatics Must Come Out”.
