I’d recommend KYB. They’re OEM suppliers to Toyota.
I believe in replacing all the rubbery bits (spring mount pads, stop bumpers, dust boots, upper mounts) along with the struts. These rubbery bits absorb vibration and shock, they’re not expensive, and new ones restore that great like-new ride. They really do make a difference.
I’m unaware of any chronic strut problems with Camrys.
They work okay, but they don’t seem to last more than 5 years or so
I’d like to see some pictures of the leaky struts. If you turn the front wheels all the way to the left or right, you might be able to take a good picture or two, and post it
By the way, I assume you don’t have that classic yo-yo ride, when going over bumps. But are the strut mounts making noise?
