Anyone have any experience replacing a seal for a rear window? My '04 Ranger is leaking from… somewhere. I can trace at least part of it back to the rear window (but I’m wondering about the windshield as well, just based on my luck).
I’d be willing to repair it myself, but I’m not above paying a pro if the work is over my head. I’m looking through some Ford-specific sites as well; just wondering if anyone here has two cents to throw in.
Is this a sliding glass with a rubber seal/gasket? You might try sealing it between the rubber & body with 3M Bedding & Glazing Compound. (part #08509) If that doesn’t do it I would take it to a pro.
