@VDCDriver Yes, Mitsubishi is now running ads about their vehicles winning all those tough races, such as across the Sahara. But their cars have a poor reliability record.

There is a world of difference between day to day reliability and winning a race with mechanics in attendance. The two just do not relate.

Land Rovers and Jeeps are very good in rough terrain; but you don’t want to drive them there year round for 10 years.
