Can anyone tell me how hard a oil cooler on my car is to change (its leaking oil)_

Are you SURE it’s the cooler?? How about one of the flexible hoses that connects the cooler to the engine?

I just looked. There is no oil cooler on your vehicle. Not for the engine oil or for the power steering.

These vehicles leak oil at the oil filter to block adapter. A real pain to fix, which is common with early Sportages.The use of wobbly sockets and 1/4 drive stuff makes it go easier, as does doing it a couple of dozen times.

well if you look it up on site for Kia parts it shows oil cooler and transmission fluid also runs through it.

I think what you are talking about is the transmission oil cooler which is inside your radiator. The only way to change it is to change the radiator. You can change or repair the lines and fittings that go to it.
