Jeep Grand Cherokee - Intermittently Won't Start

04 Jeep GC TURN KEY AND GET NOTHING no dash lights or chimes and won’t start I try shifting and nothing I try again and again then all of the sudden in park I turn the key and it starts chiming and indicator lights come on and it starts no problem shoul I look into it being the switch or the cpu very frustrated please help
