Is my tire okay? Should I repair/fix or must replace

You ruined a tire, a rim and possibly messed up the suspension.

Now you’re going to try and hide it ?

With friends like you, who needs enemies ?

You don’t think they’re going to notice 1 brand new tire ?

I have owned cars that were worth less than $1,000, and the most expensive car I have ever owned was my 2004 Toyota Corolla, which cost approximately $15,000 new. “Friends” like this OP, are exactly why I would NEVER allow a valet to park my car, or permit friends or extended family to drive any of my cars at any time. It’s just not worth the risk.

And like I said you’d better better for sure check with a dealer to make sure you don’t have to replace all four or at least two of the tires or you’ll ruin the drive line. So then I don’t know instead of $2-3000 for a wheel, tires and suspension check, how many thousands does drive line repair cost in a car like that? $10,000??? I guess that’s why you don’t loan people tools or cars. I guess especially to someone who is a “little short on cash”.

Never borrow anything you can’t afford to replace. Cash poor, balling in a borrowed Maserati; what could go wrong?

That’s old fashioned but very good advice.
