Is an OEM ABS Sensor worth the Price?

I need to replace the Right Front ABS sensor on my 1995 Toyota Avalon.

Cleaning the old one didn’t get rid of the “3-1” code.

OEM replacements are upwards of $170. Aftermarket ones can be had for less than half of that.

Is there that much difference in quality? Thanks

If you stick with a good company then you shouldn’t have a problem. Check to see if Wagner makes that part. They make excellent products…and in fact they make many OEM parts for several manufacturers.

@tom418

I advise you to stay away from the chinese cheap store brand sensors

Rockauto.com has a pretty good selection, as does partsgeek.com, I believe

And the decent ones cost less than $170
