1998 DODGE CARAVAN–DASH GUAGES WILL SOMETIMES NOT WORK. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT HOW VAN RUNS–EVERYTHING WORKS BUT GUAGES. AFTER SEVERAL STARTS GUAGES MAY WORK FOR A FEW DAYS AND THEN QUIT AGAIN.

I know nothing of Caravans, but on most cars, if dash cluster is intermittent, first thing to do is pull the cluster and check the ground connection(s).
Since the fuse to this area supplies power to other important things it would seem the fuse connection isn’t the problem. I would check the pink power wire connection to the cluster and see if there is an intermittent connection there.
Check on allpar.com forums. They talk about an IOD fuse that you remove and could fix the problem. 2nd culprit is the soldering behind the cluster and they have pics and instructions on how to fix it.
