My 2005 Escape started making this beeping noise. It goes Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep Pause and then repeat five times. Then, nothing for one half hour. Then it starts again, but only sometimes.
You may want to read your owner's manual and see what it has to say about beeps. It may be trying to tell you something.
Are there any lights like the CEL coming on? Are any doors (including the trunk) that may not be shut tight?Is your seatbelt on? The early 2000 Crown Vics did the same beeping thing if the driver’s belt wasn’t fastened… drove the cops nuts.
