Put the meters on my AC because it wasn’t working right. Low side showed 90 lb in high side showed 110 lb. I put some freon in and got a reading of 40 lb on the low side and 200 lb on the high side. Ran really nice. Went back the next day and the AC wasn’t working. Shut it off turn it back on and it worked. The compressor was running before and after. Not sure what’s going on.
The compressor magnetic clutch or the compressor itself is bad.
The expansion valve may be malfunctioning.
When this happens, AC performance can be unpredictable.
