I’m trying to replace the ignition switch. I have removed the old switch from the very end of the whole key mechanism along with all the attached wires and little switch pieces. I put it all back together and now the key mechanism is locked, the key won’t turn. Any thoughts on this, Pete.
You need to take the switch down and turn the white plastic part with the depression. The depression is where the rod from the lock and cylinder goes into the switch to turn it. Do some trial turns of the switch before you re-installed it.
