I was insured by progressive during that time, and oh my gosh, they charged me $700 per month for comprehensive insurance.

They were the only insurance company that would insure me because of a relative on my policy who ran into issues twice with State Farm that I was insured with.

I’ve never heard good news about progressive. They’re such a ripoff. Even if I enter to sue them, I’m not likely to get anything more than $15 anyways.

That is called high risk insurance and you don’t blame progressive for it. You blame the moron relative

We are concerned about YOUR driving skills, not your relative

Maryland does it differently than Virginia, or at least did so about 45 years ago. My sister was at fault in an accident and had to get insurance from the state insurance fund and it was expensive. Our mother’s insurance was not affected. Since my mother paid the insurance for my sister it didn’t matter to family finances.

:joy: I have zero at fault accidents on my driving record ( except that railroad incident). You shouldn’t be worried over a driver who discusses road regulations.

How many drivers out there accidentally pass a stopped school bus for a variety of reasons at no fault of theirs? Mine was unpreventable, demonstrated thoroughly by long time forum member Chris. Even my lawyer was confident in fighting it, and he won.

No driver ( none at all ) is going to safely stop around a blinded corner for a school bus unloading kids, especially on a hill. We are so quick to blame the driver of a vehicle and not the person creating the dangerous situation. I don’t get it :face_with_raised_eyebrow:.

Until one falls victim in my shoes, they’ll never understand.

If you don’t register, I can guarantee that you will collect ZERO dollars. While it’s true that many/most Class Action Suits produce a paltry payout, you won’t know the actual amount for many months. One CA suit that I joined resulted in a payout of more than $300 for me. I was both surprised and gratified when I cashed the check.

There you go again, not willing to take ANY personal responsibility

Responsibility for what?

You want me to admit to exactly what ?

Every single incident on the road is apparently someone ELSE’S responsibility . . . ?!

The common link for all if these adventures is YOU
