Check Engine light + Tac Off light + Brakes hard to push(Like a bad booster) = ???
Get the CEL read and post the codes.
I take it “CEL” is the computer read out?

Some autopart stores will read the codes for free.

You say like a bad booster. Maybe, it is a bad (ruptured) power brake booster.
Is the tachometer a factory stock unit, or an aftermarket unit?
Go to an auto parts store and get the engine computer scanned, and bring the codes here (like P0301).
I was thinking the brakes were caused by the rough idle, which I failed to mention.
I’m off to the parts store.
