Hyundai recall

I recently read in my local newspaper that hyundai was recalling, the 2001 Elantra for a elecitrical problem.I took it into the dealer and the sevice manager said he didn’t know anything about it. I went back three times still nothing. Where do I find out about this?

After about 10 seconds of “Googling”, I found this link to the NHTSA site, listing recalls:

Google is your friend.

Most recalls show up on the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) website. And since NHTSA is part of the federal government, it’s pretty much “official,” despite what the service manager at a dealership may tell you.

Or, as VDCdriver suggests, Google it.

Don’t ask the dealer, go to the source. Then print out the recall notice, if there is one, and hand a copy to the service manager. They hate it when you do that.
