Hyundai needs to keep trying

Well just something to ponder. A group of us were sitting around eating pizza and shoplifting came up. These were firmer teachers and other generally solid citizens of the blue variety. So I said I’m quite sure that as a group we could drive out to wall mart, fill our sacks, overcome the clerks, and the near dead greeter at the door, and away we would go. So why don’t we do it? Because it is wrong, bad fir society, our culture, family, etc. we could but we won’t and don’t.

So why do THEY do it? Values, family, culture, lack of respect for society, etc? We discussed this back in sociology in 1968. We and the government have helped raise a generation or two of people with few values except for what they can take. A million or five million or me helping to pay their low credit score, will not fix the problem. It’s much deeper than anti theft devices on cars.

Not going to be possible to solve this issue here, but I fully concur that value and culture clashes are involved.
