for a 2007 nissan altima hybrid how reliable are the electric batteries & cost of replacement?
Not much information about how reliable these are, but since the hybrid system was licensed from Toyota it should be fairly reliable, the Honda hybrids seem to have more troubles. Rebuilt hybrid battery’s run around $1,900 or $2,400 with new cells. Looks like a dealer would want close to $5,000.
So few Nissan hybrids out there, I’d get the Camry hybrid instead.
8 year old hybrids depreciate quickly and deeply because their owners suspect a battery problem or they fear one in the near future…let the buyer beware…
