1998 Nissan Frontier 5 sp., 4wd, non power steering. Brake lights burned continuously. Had it checked it out and was told it was the brake light switch. Garage wanted $36 just for the part, no labor. Got the part at a OEM retailer for $6.00, along with general instructions on installing it. Remove 2 bolts, and the bracket would drop down, allowing me to install the new switch. WRONG! Bracket is spot welded to the steering column. Can’t see any other way to get to switch.
