How to remove blue ink from leather

I have blue ball point pen ink on light colored leather upholstery. Anyone know how to get it out?

Cheap hairspray will clean ink from a cotton shirt and might be worth a try.

OK, I checked online–isopropyl (rubbing) alchohol worked well.
It had a slight tendency to remove color, but was not bad. Got the ink out.

I suggest you check out your local high end furniture store that handles leather.

@melott, use some leather restorer on the spot. The alcohol will also remove some of the oils that make the leather pliable.
