How to lower rear seats in a 2004 sebring

I’ve gone over every square inch of the rear seats, from both inside and from the trunk, and can’t figure out how to fold the back seats down… Usually, there is some kind of latch that you pull, but all I find are baby seat restraints. And from the trunk, I can’t find anything. Do these seats fold down at all? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Should be in the owner’s manual.

They may not fold down. Not all back seats do. If they do, this will be covered in the owner’s manual.

The latch release mechanisms in my car are in the trunk.

Edmunds claims that the rear seats fold down in the sedan and coupe. They couldn’t fold in a convertible. If you don’t have the owner’s manual anymore, get one here:

If they fold down, your owner’s manual will tell you how to do it.

The early-2000’s Corollas also had the relases in the truck, like Whitey’s.

Dang does nobody have google, I dismissed this days ago as I thought the answer was solved RTM! there are two pull things at each corner on the top of the seat! page 60

waterboy, I thought I provided a good answer by offering a way to get an owner’s manual. I didn’t feel like downloading it and reading it for the answer.
