Are we updating the list now from 2009 or do we have to start over from 1966? Just asking for a friend.
LOL Hey, whichever floats your boat, revs your engine, or lowers your insurance premiums.
I have only been driving for a few years now, going onto 4 years now. I was given my moms old Dodge Grand Caravan it was either an 01ā or 02ā I was given the vehicle when I went off to college. It got me through the third year(1st year as I transferred) although it ended up getting a coolant leak in the head gasket.
After that went, instead of fixing it as it was pretty hefty and given the year wasnāt worth it. It was 2017 I believe. My bday was nearing, my parents as a bday gift chipped into buy a used vehicle, which was a 05ā Mazda 3 sedan(5 speed) but wasnāt feeling the manual life anymore after I fried the clutch(which the mechanic check, but at this point not sure how he exactly checked it) anyways I got it replaced but I wasnāt able to grasp it anymore and just gave up on it(I lowkey regret not giving it a better shot).
I sold that vehicle and used the money to get my current car which is an automatic 07ā Mazda 3 Sport Hatch which I got used after I sold the 05ā. I still drive it has a possible parasitic drain but getting to the bottom of it, just ruling stuff out. Iām wanting to give the manual life a try again but that wont be for awhile.
How did I miss this topic? This is fun. In order of purchase:
1984 Toyota Tercel hatchback
1989 Dodge Caravan SE. With the red-hell interior that was so popular with Chrysler back then. Just what a strapping young high school kid wants to be driving around.
1988 Honda CRX DX. still own about 1/5th of it. I disassembled it and the parts that didnāt sell are in my basement.
1991 Honda CRX DX, swapped to Si motor. Still own it. No rust at all!
1993 Toyota MR2. Still own it. Also no rust.
1990 Honda CRX Si (seeing a pattern here?). Rusted to hell and gone. Winter beater.
2007 Acura TL. Still miss it.
1988 Mitsubishi Mighty Max pickup. Still own it. People try to get me to sell it to them all the time. No, you canāt buy it.
2012 Hyundai Veloster. Wifeās car. Still own it.
2016 Lexus ES350. Still own it.
Redneck!
For the record, the chassis is not sitting on blocks in my yard surrounded by 3 foot tall grass.
I gave it to a guy who wanted a cheap rolling chassis for a rally car.
