Horn will not work when steering column contact depressed, but will work when “panic” or lock button depressed on factory keyless remote.
That takes a lot of guesswork out of your problem. Since the horn blows then the problem is in your clock spring. Try rotating your steering wheel fully clockwise or counterclockwise and try the horn. If it blows then you have a dirty or greasy horn contact or wiring problem. The steering wheel will have to be removed if the horn works or does not work and since you have airbags it’s not a DIY job.
