Honda Odyssey, the car alarm goes off seemingly randomly. I’ve noticed it tends to go off mostly during the day and never while I’m driving it, but other than that, I don’t see any pattern. My father suggests it might be a sensor. What can you folks recommend?

OEM or aftermarket alarm?
I mean, you can find an aftermarket alarm for anything now 
I haven’t ever replaced it but it’s used. How can I tell?
Any decent auto alarm shop can solve this or for just a small fee disconnect the alarm .
A friend was recently telling me about a similar problem with his Odyssey, it was a corroded sensor at the hood latch.
