While impolite to carry on a conversation in the absence of the conversation starter I might speculate based on the OP’s picture that he is a fan of the display of excessive entertainment equipment. A hybrid vehicle would be a poor choice as it may not be able to provide sufficient power for such equipment.
Choosing the wrong vehicle seems to be common with young people, not only today but in the past, the compromises aren’t apparent to teenagers.
