Had to get a brand new transmission on my 2004 Accord at 89k miles. Now, it makes this awful whining noise. My friend thinks it sounds like a kazoo. It seems to be getting louder. Honda dealership tells me that the noise is normal. What?? Can anybody help? Thanks!
Ask the Honda dealer to take you for a ride in an '04 Accord from their used car lot. When it doesn’t whine, ask them again about the noise your transmission makes.
Transmissions aren’t supposed to whine. They shouldn’t sound like kazoos, either.
