Sweet ride…

Is there not a rule that a picture of a Hurst vehicle must also have Linda Vaughn present.

Ah linda, I remember fondly

You know how I know I’m getting old? When I see a picture with Linda Vaughn amongst a bunch of old Mopars, I think “Wow, look at those cars!” :grinning:

Linda was working the Hurst booth at a trade show put on by a performance parts supplier in the Northwest around 1994. Our instructor at the voc-tech took us on a field trip.

Here you go!

Back to the car for a second. I really dislike the Hurst decal.
BTW, my mother had a 1970 Chrysler, but lowest trim line, 4-door sedan, 2BBL 383.

I just remembered that a co-worker owned a late '70s New Yorker station wagon with the 440 V8. When I asked him about its power, his response was, “It can pass anything… except a gas station”.

Yousa!! I mean the car, of course. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket.

As lovely as Linda Vaughn is/was/is, the car has still aged better…

Here she was, at the age of 70, so… not too bad… even though–as Marilyn Monroe said, “gravity takes its toll”.

I couldn’t find any photos of her at her current age of 82.

Yeah I looked too… lol

Linda’s most recent years have been a bit rough, she’s had a bunch of cardiac issues. But she’s still gorgeous.

I’m better than I ever was!

That’s not a safe riding position.

I also like the variant-

The older I get, the better I was
