I have a 2005 BMW X5 and the heater motor makes a shrill noise only when I am turning right. Suggestions?
Worn bushings in the motor, probably time for a new blower motor unless an industrial electric motor specialty or starter and alternator shop thinks it’s rebuildable. ( but for the price of a new motor it’s probably ‘‘totaled’’ when compared to a rebuild. )
The centrifugal force of turning pulls it off of it’s natural running center and it is scraping something like it’s housing.
