My Head lights on car going crazy.
when i put high beam left head light goes on and right goes.
and when i put low beams right head light goes on, and left off.
i changed the light on both but still i got the same problem.
the car is Nissan maxima 1992

possibly bad ground on one or the other… just a guess. If that doesn’t help, get a voltmeter and start measuring voltages to see where things go wrong.
In other words, with high beams, look at voltage on R. If it is 0, trace back to where it is 12v. If it is 12v and light is off, look at voltage on ground side. etc. Make all measurements with negative lead of meter connected to a good chassis ground.
