When an engine MISFIRES, it will make the engine hesitate, for a moment, or two. Hesitation is sometimes caused by old, worn out, spark plugs, or spark plug wires. An old, dirty, air filter, or fuel filter, can cause hesitation also. What to do? Replace the old things.
