Hi , i have 191k on this car. car runs well but for the past month, about once a week i"ll be driving (on the highway) and my car does a sort of “hiccup.” it seems like it is losing power but then goes right back to normal. it always happens in the same spot? i have come to the conclusion maybe it’s happening after my car is running for about 10 mins? not sure?? any thoughts?
That sounds like engine “misfire”. It could be the result of fuel pressure dropping off, momentarily. Have you changed the fuel filter in modern times? Try a fresh fuel filter. Results?
It could, also, be loss of spark. How young are the sparkplugs?
