I have 2003 Chevy Trailblazer and last winter i ran over a large snow drift, every since then when it would rain my fuel gauge would float sometimes as of a few months ago it doesn’t move at all and the gauge sits on empty no matter if the tank if full or not any suggestions.
probably loosed up the float inside the tank or knocked a wire(s) loose, depending on how hard you hit the drift.
I think the snow tugged on the wiring harness for the sending unit, possibly just pulling the connector partially off.
